Answer general banking questions with an AI agent
Customers message about branches, cards, fees and applications. Spaces connects the account they already write to, so an AI agent can answer the general questions and send anything about an account to a person.
What time does the Market Street branch close today?
How do I order a new card?
Spaces lets banks give an AI agent the messaging account their customers already write to. The agent reads each new message, replies in the same chat with the information you give it, and hands anything unusual to a person. Customers start the conversation. Plans from $19 a month.

What do customers ask banks?
For example, a customer might ask:
- Maya R.What time does the Market Street branch close today?
- Tom B.How do I order a new card?
- Priya S.What documents do I need to open an account?
- Daniel K.Is there a fee for international transfers?
- Amara O.My application is pending. What happens next?
From your customer to your agent, and back.
How does an AI agent fit banks?
Many messages a bank gets are general questions with a published answer. Your agent can answer those from the notes you sign off and hand anything about a specific account, payment or complaint to your team. Spaces does not keep the text of messages sent through the API, and keys can be paused or revoked at once.
What can the AI agent do?
With Spaces, your AI agent can see new chats as they arrive (by webhook or by checking unread chats), read the conversation, and reply in the same chat. It can look up a sender's profile and download attachments such as photos the customer sent. You decide what the agent knows and when it hands over to a person. That logic lives in your agent, not in Spaces. Spaces paces every send for each account and makes every send safe to retry.
Who can the agent message?
Spaces is for conversations your customers start, and for people who already know you and expect to hear from you. Spaces' Terms rule out bulk unsolicited messages, bought or scraped contact lists, and cold outreach at scale. If someone asks you to stop, stop messaging them. Your agent should honour that straight away. Keep a record of who has opted in to hear from you, and of anyone who has opted out. Follow each platform's rules and the laws where you and your customers are.
How do you set it up? In minutes.

- 2
Add a card at checkout.
- 3
Connect the account your customers already message, by scanning a QR code or signing in.

Plans from $19 a month.
Every plan includes the REST API and the MCP server.
Questions, answered.
01Should the agent discuss account details?
We suggest it does not. Set up your agent to answer general questions only and pass anything about an account to your team.
02Can we switch the agent off quickly?
Yes. Pause or revoke its key from the dashboard or the API, and it can no longer read or send.
03What is an AI agent for banks?
An AI agent for banks is software, such as Claude, Grok or your own code, that reads the messages customers send your business and replies in the same chat. Spaces gives that agent an API key and an MCP server for the messaging account your customers already use, so it can answer routine questions and hand the rest to your team.
04How do banks set up an AI agent to answer customer messages?
Sign up for Spaces with your email, add a card at checkout, connect the account your customers already message, then give your AI agent the API key or the MCP server. Your agent can do these steps for you. Most setups take a few minutes.
05Is it safe to let an AI agent reply to customers of banks?
You stay in control. Spaces enforces per-account limits and pacing for every key, makes every send safe to retry, and lets you pause or revoke a key at any time. You decide in your agent which questions it answers and when it hands over to a person, and a read-only key lets it read without sending.
06Can I use Spaces to send promotions to my whole customer list?
No. Spaces is for conversations with people who know you and expect to hear from you. Its Terms rule out bulk unsolicited messages and cold outreach.
07Will the agent reply without me checking?
That depends on how you set up your agent. Spaces gives the agent the ability to read and reply. Approval steps and hand-offs are configured in your agent. For read-only use, give it a read-only key.
