Spaces

Connect Cursor to Spaces

The AI code editor. Once it is connected, Cursor can read and answer your customers’ messages on WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, Messenger and X, inside the limits that keep your accounts safe.

Before you start

You need a Spaces account with a chat account connected. Start a trial, or paste this into Cursor and let it do the setup with you:

Set up Spaces for me by following https://www.spacesos.com/agents

Connect it

  1. Add the block below to ~/.cursor/mcp.json, or to .cursor/mcp.json in one project.
  2. Cursor finds the Spaces sign-in on its own. Sign in to Spaces in the browser and approve access.
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "spaces": { "url": "https://api.spacesos.com/mcp" }
  }
}

Using an API key instead

Prefer an API key? Keep it in an environment variable and add a header. Create the key in your dashboard; it is shown once.

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "spaces": {
      "url": "https://api.spacesos.com/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer ${env:SPACES_API_KEY}" }
    }
  }
}

Check it worked

Spaces shows with its tools in Cursor’s MCP settings. The MCP Logs output panel shows any error.

Steps checked on 3 Nov 2026 against Cursor MCP docs. If a menu has moved, that page has the current version.
