Connect Hermes to Spaces

Nous Research’s open-source Hermes Agent. Once it is connected, Hermes can read and answer your customers’ messages on WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, Messenger and X, inside the limits that keep your accounts safe.

Before you start

You need a Spaces account with a chat account connected. Start a trial, or paste this into Hermes and let it do the setup with you:

Set up Spaces for me by following https://www.spacesos.com/agents

Connect it

  1. Add the block below to ~/.hermes/config.yaml.
  2. Run hermes mcp login spaces and sign in to Spaces in the browser.

Using an API key instead

Prefer an API key? Use a header instead of auth: oauth. Create the key in your dashboard; it is shown once.

Check it worked

Run /reload-mcp, then hermes mcp test spaces. The tools appear as mcp_spaces_….
