01These terms

These affiliate terms are a contract with SpacesOS Inc., 251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware (“Spaces”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you join the Spaces affiliate program from your dashboard. Our terms and privacy policy still apply to your Spaces account.

You must be at least 18 to join. If you join for a company, you confirm you can agree to these terms on its behalf.

02Your link and how referrals are tracked

When you join, you get a referral code and a link to spacesos.com that carries it. When someone opens your link, we store your code in a cookie on their browser for 60 days. If they create a Spaces account in that time, their workspace is recorded as your referral.

The first affiliate link a person opens is the one that counts. A later click on another affiliate’s link does not replace it. A workspace can only ever have one referrer, and an existing customer cannot become a referral.

We count clicks once per visitor per day. We do not store the visitor’s IP address for this.

03Commission

You earn 30% of each payment a referred workspace makes for a Spaces plan, for as long as they stay a customer. Commission is worked out on the amount paid before tax, and only on payments that have gone through. Nothing is earned on trials, unpaid invoices, or credits.

Each commission keeps the rate it was earned at. If we change the rate later, it applies to new payments only.

04Holding, approval, refunds and chargebacks

Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment, in case it is refunded or disputed. After that we review and approve it.

If a payment is refunded, in full or in part, the commission on it is reduced to match. If a payment is disputed with the card issuer, the commission on it is removed. When the commission was already paid to you, the amount is taken off your next payout.

05Payouts

We pay approved commission by PayPal, in US dollars, once a month, when your approved balance is at least $50. A smaller balance carries over to the next month. You need to add the email of your PayPal account on the affiliate page of your dashboard; we cannot pay you without it.

You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn. We may ask for tax details before paying you, and we may hold a payout until we have them. PayPal fees, if any, are charged by PayPal.

06Rules for promoting Spaces

• No spam. Do not send your link in unsolicited messages, to bought or scraped lists, or in comments and groups where it is not welcome. Share it with people who would want to hear about Spaces.
• No paid search on our name. Do not bid on “Spaces”, “spacesos” or any spelling of them in Google, Bing or any other search ads, and do not run ads that look like they come from us. You can advertise your own content that mentions Spaces.
• No self-referral. Your own account, your company’s accounts, and accounts paid with your own card do not earn commission. We check the email, the company domain and the card used.
• Be honest. Describe Spaces as it is. Do not promise results it cannot guarantee, such as an account never being restricted by a platform, and do not offer discounts or prices we have not published.
• Say you earn a commission. Tell people when a link is an affiliate link, as the law in most countries requires.

07Self-referral

You cannot earn commission on your own workspace, on a workspace of your own company, or on a workspace paid with a card you also use. We check the email address, its domain (other than shared providers such as Gmail or Outlook), and the card details our payment provider shares with us. A referral that breaks this rule is rejected, and its commission is removed.

08Suspension and ending

You can leave the program at any time by writing to us. We will pay any approved balance of at least $50 with the next monthly payout.

We can suspend or close your affiliate account if you break these terms, our acceptable use policy, or the law. In that case we may withhold commission that has not been paid yet. We can also end the program for everyone with 30 days’ notice, and we will still pay approved commission from before the end.

09Our relationship

You promote Spaces as an independent business. You are not our employee, agent or partner, and you cannot make promises or sign contracts for us. You may use the Spaces name to describe the product accurately, but not in a way that suggests you are Spaces.

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For important changes we will tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep promoting Spaces after a change applies, you accept the new terms.
