An Email MCP server for your AI agent
Spaces gives your AI agent an MCP server for your own Gmail, Outlook or other mailbox at https://api.spacesos.com/mcp/email. It lists only your Email accounts and the tools that work on Email, so the agent stays on that channel. Please read your email provider's rules below before you connect.

The best fit is answering the emails customers send you: questions, bookings, quotes and order updates. Your agent reads the email, replies on the same thread from your own address, and hands anything sensitive to a person. It can also save a draft for you to check and send yourself.
What your agent can do on Email
These tools are listed in the Spaces docs:
- List emails, newest first, filtered by folder, address or date, and read one email with its attachments (list_emails, get_email, get_email_attachment).
- Reply on a thread with reply_to, or send one email to one person who expects it (send_email). At most 4 people in copy, no blind copies and no tracking.
- Save a draft (create_email_draft), mark an email read or move it (update_email), or move it to the trash (delete_email).
- List mail folders and the contacts saved in the mailbox (list_email_folders, list_email_contacts).
- Check usage against Spaces' per-mailbox limits (get_messaging_usage).
One server per channel, or one for all
https://api.spacesos.com/mcp/email is limited to Email: an account from another channel is refused, and connect links are for Email only. https://api.spacesos.com/mcp covers every channel with the same key.
Pacing and safe retries
Spaces enforces per-account limits for every key and every agent, however the agent is prompted. New accounts warm up over their first week. Over a limit, the API returns 429 with Retry-After, and nothing was sent. Every send needs an Idempotency-Key, and the same key never sends twice.
Set up
- Sign up with your email and the 6-digit code Spaces sends. An agent can do this for you through the onboarding MCP server at https://api.spacesos.com/mcp/start.
- Add a card at checkout. Don't connect an account until checkout is finished.
- Connect Email: open the connect link ("channel": "email", optionally "provider": "gmail", "outlook" or "imap") and sign in.
- Create an API key. It starts with spc_live_ and is shown only once, so store it safely.
- Add the Email MCP server https://api.spacesos.com/mcp/email to your agent, or call the REST API at https://api.spacesos.com/v1.
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Grok
Every client uses the same MCP URL, https://api.spacesos.com/mcp/email, with your API key as a Bearer token. Grok, Grok Bot and Cursor can also sign in with OAuth instead of a key.

How do I connect Email to Spaces?
Open the connect link from the dashboard, the API or MCP, and sign in to Gmail or Outlook, or enter your mail server details for any other mailbox.
Can the agent send a newsletter or a campaign?
No. Spaces sends one email at a time to one person. A reply to someone who asked not to be emailed is refused.
Which mailboxes work?
Gmail and Google Workspace, Outlook and Microsoft 365, and any mailbox that accepts its mail server details (IMAP and SMTP).
Do I need a separate key for the Email MCP server?
No. The same API key works on https://api.spacesos.com/mcp/email and on https://api.spacesos.com/mcp. Grok, Grok Bot and Cursor can also sign in with OAuth.
