What happens when your AI agent hits a limit
Sometimes your agent tries to send a message and Spaces holds it back. That is the safety system working: it keeps your accounts inside the limits each platform watches. Here is what each case means and what, if anything, you need to do.
The common cases
| What happened | What to do |
|---|---|
| The hourly limit was reached, or a message came too soon after the last | Nothing. Your agent waits and tries again with the same message, so it is never sent twice. |
| The daily limit was reached | Sending starts again the next day. |
| The platform signed the account out | Reconnect it from your dashboard. |
| It is outside the working hours you set | The message waits until your hours start. |
| A person on your team took over the chat | Nothing. The agent stays out until the chat is handed back. |
| Your plan's actions for the period are used up | Wait for the next period, or move to a plan that keeps working. |
| The platform did not answer | Nothing. Your agent tries again shortly. Nothing was sent. |
Always refused
- The same cold message sent to many people.
- Any message to someone who said stop in that chat.
- Anything from an account the platform has restricted, until it is reconnected.
Why limits help you
Platforms restrict accounts that send too much, too fast. Holding back a message for an hour is far better than losing the account. Replies to customers who message you are rarely affected, because the tightest limits are on new conversations.

FAQ
Will a held-back message be sent twice?
No. Each message has its own key, so a retry never sends it again.
Can I see how much room an account has left?
Yes. Your agent can check usage, and every send reports how many messages are left today and this week.
Can I turn the limits off?
No. You can set lower limits, never higher, because they are what keep the account safe.
