Recruiters on LinkedIn: answer every candidate, without sending spam

Recruiters drown in LinkedIn replies: "what is the salary?", "is it hybrid?", "can we talk Thursday?". Those answers sit in a job brief already. An AI agent can reply to candidates who message you, book screening calls and keep your pipeline moving. It should not be used to send hundreds of cold messages, which is exactly what LinkedIn restricts.

What customers ask on LinkedIn

  • What is the salary range for this role?
  • Is it remote, hybrid or in the office?
  • Can you tell me the company name?
  • Do they sponsor visas?
  • Can we have a call this week?

What the agent answers

  • Salary range, location, working pattern and benefits, from the job brief.
  • Booking screening calls into your calendar.
  • Collecting notice period, right to work and salary expectations.
  • Polite replies to people who are not looking right now.

What it always hands to you

  • Offer negotiation and anything about a specific candidate's package.
  • Client names when the role is confidential: it says a recruiter will share them on a call.
  • Feedback after interviews, which should come from you.

Reply first, reach out slowly

LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits bots that send messages or add contacts, and LinkedIn restricts accounts that behave like them. The safest use is answering people who message you or reply to you. If you do reach out, keep it to a handful of personal messages a day. Spaces holds connection requests and new conversations to low daily limits for every account, and a new account starts lower still.

Set it up in an afternoon

  1. Write a brief for each open role: salary, location, pattern, must-haves, what is confidential.
  2. Connect your LinkedIn account by signing in.
  3. Connect your AI agent and give it the briefs and your calendar.
  4. Tell it to answer replies and book calls, and to leave outreach to you.
  5. Read its conversations daily for the first week.

FAQ

Can it send connection requests for me?

Spaces lets an agent send a few a day within strict limits, but LinkedIn restricts automated contact. Most recruiters keep outreach personal and use the agent for replies.

Can it message people who are not connections?

A normal message goes to a 1st-degree connection. Anyone else needs a connection request or an InMail.

Does it work with Recruiter or Sales Navigator?

Spaces connects your LinkedIn account. Check the LinkedIn limits page for which actions are covered.
